Ciarán and Morgan’s story began at Texas A&M University. Ciarán was a senior and Morgan a junior, both having just finished their fall semester. One night while they were out at Northgate, their best friends introduced them at a bar (the maid of honor and best man now). When they first met, Ciarán didn’t quite know what to say to Morgan. Being around such a beautiful girl made him nervous, so he made the mistake of just saying hi and walking away for the night. Little did he know, she would end up being the woman he’d want to spend the rest of his life with. Luckily, he came to his senses the next morning and couldn’t let a girl like Morgan get away that easily, so he reached out to her on Instagram and got her Snapchat (yes, he definitely should’ve just asked for her number lol). Over the next few weeks, they kept messaging and eventually set up a date. Their first date was at the Dixie Chicken in College Station, where they played pool and got to know each other. From there, one date turned into many, and they quickly grew closer, eventually leading Ciarán to ask Morgan to be his girlfriend. Over the next few months, their relationship continued to grow as they spent nearly every day together. As the spring semester came to an end, they realized that Ciarán was about to graduate and move to Dallas to start his new job. It wasn’t easy knowing they’d have to make long-distance work, but they were determined to stay together no matter what.

After graduation, Ciarán moved to Dallas to start his career while Morgan stayed in College Station for her senior year. They made the best of the distance by taking turns driving to see each other on weekends and talking on the phone every night. They knew it wouldn’t be easy, but they also knew it wouldn’t last forever. Morgan had her sights set on law school and was exploring every option, hoping to end up in Dallas so she and Ciarán could finally be in the same city again. But when her final year came to an end, she found out she’d been accepted to a law school in Houston. Luckily, Ciarán’s job allowed him to transfer to the Houston branch, and before long, they were starting the next chapter of their lives together, finally in the same place.

As time went on, Ciarán and Morgan’s love only grew stronger. Living together allowed them to create countless meaningful moments, such as cooking side by side, going on grocery shopping dates, and sharing spontaneous kitchen slow dances. Every now and then, they even enjoy a game night playing Minecraft (on easy mode, because Morgan’s survival instincts are questionable… just kidding). Eventually, Ciarán decided it was time to take the next big step. After nervously asking Morgan’s parents for their blessing, which thankfully he received, he began planning how to pop the question. Morgan had always dreamed of a proposal in a meaningful place, followed by a celebration surrounded by her friends and family. Determined to make that dream a reality, Ciarán carefully mapped out every detail. Fredericksburg held a special place in their hearts, full of memories they had shared together, and its wineries offered the perfect romantic setting for an engagement. Conveniently, Morgan was about to finish her first year of law school, giving Ciarán the perfect excuse to plan a celebratory trip.

A few months later, the day finally arrived. In beautiful Fredericksburg, surrounded by the charm of the Texas Hill Country and their loved ones, Ciarán got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. Completely surprised and overjoyed, Morgan said yes! It was the perfect moment, marking the start of their next great adventure together.
